Using the same fabric in a Roman blinds helped bring the whole room together while keeping each window treatment practical.

A close up of one of my favourite Roman Blinds.
Roman blind in GP & J Baker fabric. One of my favourite block-printed cotton and linen fabrics. A timeless design that feels part of our textile heritage.
Roman Blind Perfect Match
It was fantastic to find the perfect fabric to blend with this funky wallpaper. This recycled weave is two toned and so was the background to the wallpaper. The same two tones. Very satisfying

Roman Blind - Dormer Window
Roman blinds are particularly well suited to dormer Windows. The colours worked perfectly in this setting.
Wave voile curtains

Machine-finished eyelet curtains chosen as a cost-effective solution for a young person's bedroom, with blackout lining for comfort.
Cassette Headed Roller Blinds
A good alternative to roman blinds, these smart roller blinds were fitted to the kitchen windows of a modern apartment. Easy to clean and practical, with a fun fabric choice to add colour.

Motorised Roman blinds
Heavy velvet roman blinds in a deep bay window, fully motorised to ensure smooth operation where manual chains would be impractical
Two Window Treatments on One Window
White shutters provide privacy on a busy road, with soft double pleat curtains added to balance and soften the look.

Bright upholstered dining chairs
Dining chairs upholstered in vibrant fabrics, for a client who loves colour and wanted something uplifting, whatever the weather.

Twin Armchairs re-upholstered.
Two armchairs re-upholstered for the same room as the whole-room scheme. This style works particularly well for older generations.
Whole-room scheme
Whole-room update with Roman blinds and bespoke furniture. Dark, short curtains were removed and replaced with cascade Roman blinds. New furniture was made to suit a large family and the client's height requirements.

Apartment sales commission
Show-home styling commission. A brand new apartment that wasn't selling. Curtains, blinds and lighting were added to help buyers visualise the space - and the apartment sold.
Sustainable block-print curtains
Cartridge pleat curtains in block-print cotton. A quick re-style using sustainable cotton with a block-print design, perfectly suited to the client's ethnic-inspired sitting room.

Painting a Kitchen
I enjoy practical work too. This was a full kitchen repaint completed alongside my friend/client. 5 long days, but well worth it.
